I was the editor of the 105th volume of the Stanford Chaparral, the nation's second oldest continuously published humor magazine. Each year, the Chaparral does one parody issue, which has included spoofs of publications including National Geographic, Playbill, and the Sky Mall catalog.
Instead of the usual glossy, bound parody issue, my volume of the Chaparral featured a parody of a pile of paper. This fictional pile belonged to an eccentric character, Ronald Rembrandt DeLa Duffy, and included letters, pamphlets, to-do lists, and advertisements.
